If you have an untidy wall, why not think about having it covered in fabric instead of wall paper?

Paint and paper don't smooth over holes or lumps, but fabric does!  See picture where old lumpy wall paper vanished from sight - lovely.

No mess, no need to remove all your furniture out, no dust and very little noise to make your wall(s) look amazing.....you can use almost any type of

fabric you like....click the link above to Anglian

FABRIC WALLING

Diss School of Upholstery Upholstery Courses in Norfolk & Suffolk

If you have a passion for old furniture, fabrics and want to unleash our creative streak, Diss-Coverings and the Diss School of Upholstery is the place to visit, right in the heart of Diss.

Learn to re-upholster your own treasured piece or commission me to do it for you.  As a 'practical purist'; I prefer traditional methods, but fully appreciate that sometimes it's just not cost-effective to go that route, so I teach both traditional and modern methods, depending on the piece and your budget.

I also sell a small amount of beautifully revived furniture, selecting my pieces carefully.  The world has gone mad for 'painted furniture', but re-upholstering an old chair with a snazzy fabric takes some beating!

Diss is a picturesque English Market Town, located on the South Norfolk, North Suffolk border.  The Heritage Triangle area of the town, along with the historic Corn Hall have recently been the subject of a major refurbishment programme which is almost complete.  Funds have been raised by residents, volunteers and trustees to match lottery funding to bring the Triangle and the Corn Hall back to its former glory.  Careful planning, commitment and sensitive materials are all part of the big plan to rejuvenate this beautiful and very popular town, the main focus being the huge Mere (lake) that makes Diss quite unique.
